NSW police motorcyclist injured

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a crash today at Winston Hills where a police motorcyclist was injured, NSW Police say.

About 12.10pm today, emergency services attended Windsor Road following reports of a crash involving a police vehicle.

The collision occurred between a motorcycle and a Mazda sedan travelling in a northerly direction.

The male police officer, a senior constable attached to the Traffic & Highway Patrol, impacted heavily with the sedan. The officer received pain to his back and was taken to Westmead Hospital for treatment.

Investigations are continuing and the road is now open to traffic.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stopers.
