NSW police probe after man injured

Police are appealing for public information after a man was taken to Liverpool Hospital with injuries yesterday, NSW Police say.

About 5.50pm, yesterday, following inquiries, police attended the hospital after a man was presented suffering what appeared to be a stab wound to his chest.

Police believe the man may have been in the vicinity of Baragoola and Thorney Streets, Fairfield West, at the time of receiving the injury.

Fairfield detectives have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the man’s injuries.
