NSW police probe after shots fired during aggravated break and enter

Police are investigating after shots were fired during an aggravated break and enter in Sydney’s west last night, NSW Police say.

Just after 8pm today, emergency services were called to a home on Atlee Street, Oran Park, following reports of shots fired.

Police have been told three occupants – two men, aged 29 and 30, and a 21-year-old woman – were inside when two unknown men forced entry to the house.

The occupants left the premises and the intruders stole a mobile phone and cash, before firing a number of shots, causing damage to a fence.

No one was injured during the incident and the intruders fled.

Officers from Camden Local Area Command attended and a crime scene was established.

Police would like to speak to two men, not further described, who may be able to assist with their inquiries.

Investigations are continuing and anyone with information is urged to come forward.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
