NSW police probe fire at Lansvale

Police are investigating following a large fire in Lansvale, NSW Police say.

About 9.20pm last night (Wednesday 14 February 2018), emergency services were called to Lansvale Reserve between Henry Lawson Drive and Knight Street, Lansvale.

Fire & Rescue NSW arrived at the scene to find approximately three hectares of bushland alight.


The fire was contained, however the blaze reignited a number of times.

About 11.30pm, the fire was extinguished.

Police from Fairfield Local Area Command established a crime scene.

Investigations into the fire, including whether there are any suspicious circumstances, are continuing.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
