NSW police probe following two vehicle collision

Police are investigating following a two vehicle collision in Sydney’s inner west.

Just before 8pm today, emergency services were called to Queen Street, Concord West, after reports a Volkswagen Tiguan and a Holden Barina had collided.

The driver of Volkswagen Tiguan, a 34-year-old woman, remained trapped in the vehicle for a short time, before being freed by Fire & Rescue NSW, NSW Police say.

She was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics for minor injuries before being taken to Westmead Hospital.

The driver of the Holden Barina, a 29-year-old woman was uninjured.

Officers attached to Burwood Local Area Command established a crime scene and commenced and investigation.

Inquiries into the collision are continuing.
