NSW police pursuit - Sydney's north

Police are continuing to search for a stolen vehicle following a pursuit through Sydney's north this afternoon.

About 4.40pm (Wednesday 23 January 2019), police were informed a white Mercedes sedan was parked outside Campbell Parade, Manly Vale, with the occupants unloading property.

Checks revealed the vehicle had been stolen during a break and enter in Chester Hill this morning.

When police arrived the vehicle took off and with the assistance of POLAIR, police on the ground monitored the vehicle through Manly.

On Military Road, Mosman, police engaged in a short pursuit that was terminated for safety reasons in Cowles Road, Cremorne.

The vehicle was last seen travelling south on the Harbour Bridge.

Police are continuing with their inquiries to locate the car.
