NSW police release CCTV as investigations continue into Far North Coast murder

Detectives have released CCTV images as investigations continue into the death of a woman whose body was found on the state’s Far North Coast last week, NSW Police say.

Just before 7.30am last Thursday (18 August 2016), emergency services were called to Pollards Road, Dulguigan, following reports of a fire.

Police from Tweed/Byron Local Area Command attended and located a burnt body.

The body was formally identified as Sabrina Bremer, a 34-year-old woman from the Logan area in South East Queensland.

Ms Bremer was reported missing to Logan Police last Wednesday (17 August 2016), after last speaking with a family member the day before (16 August 2016).

She is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 170cm tall, with a medium build, dark brown hair with red highlights, and a stud-piercing below her lower-right lip.

Strike Force Faringdon has been established by investigators from the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad and Tweed/Byron Local Area Command to investigate the circumstances surrounding the woman’s suspected murder.

Investigators are also working closely with Homicide detectives from Queensland Police Service.

Detectives have released CCTV images of Ms Bremer in the Logan area on the last afternoon she was seen (15 August 2016).

She is depicted as wearing a black jumper with a red t-shirt underneath, black tracksuit pants with white stripes down the side, and bright pink sneakers.

Anyone with information that may assist investigators, particularly anyone who may have been in the area at the time, is urged to come forward.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stopers.
