NSW police release CCTV images following armed robbery

Police have released CCTV images and are appealing for information following an armed robbery at a bottle shop in Corowa on the States far south coast over the weekend.

About 6.20pm on Saturday (22 October 2016), a man entered a bottle shop on Sanger Street before allegedly producing a pocket knife and threatening staff.

He allegedly stole an amount of cash before fleeing south on Sanger Street. No one was injured during the incident.

Officers from Albury Local Area Command arrived a short time later, however the man was not located.

Albury detectives are investigating the incident and have released images of a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.

The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, in his 50s or 60s, with a medium build, grey hair, bushy black eyebrows and a large stomach. He is shown wearing a black t-shirt with a faded ‘Singha’ beer logo, dark pants, and runners.
