NSW police release images as investigation into Bondi Junction brawl continues

Police investigating a brawl at a Chinese restaurant at Bondi Junction earlier this year have now released CCTV images of people they’d like to interview, NSW Police say.

About 9.50pm on Saturday 13 February 2016, emergency services were called to Oxford Street, Bondi Junction, following reports a group of people had been involved in a brawl inside a restaurant.

Police have been told about ten people, possibly known to each other, were involved in the incident.

Punches were thrown during the fight, with some of the people using restaurant chairs and glassware as weapons.

A large glass window was also smashed in the melee.

Officers from Eastern Suburbs Local Area Command attended the scene immediately; however, most of the people involved had already left the location.

On Wednesday 16 March 2016, police executed a search warrant at Pymble and arrested a 26-year-old man.

He was charged with affray and is next due to appear at Waverley Local Court on Wednesday 8 June 2016.

As part of the ongoing investigation, police have today tomorrow released images of eight people who are likely to be able to assist with the investigation.

The persons depicted in the images and anyone with information about is urged to come forward to police via Crime Stopers.
