NSW police seek assistance to locate missing teenager

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a missing teenager from St Marys since Monday, NSW Police say.

Taleigha Telefoni, 16, was last seen about 2pm on Monday 13 June 2016, by friends in the Cranebrook area.

When Taleigha failed to return to her St Marys home, her parents contacted police.

Officers attached to St Marys Local Area Command commenced a search for Taleigha; however she has not been seen since..

Taleigha’s family and police hold concerns for her welfare, as her disappearance is out of character.

Taleigha is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, about 165cm tall, with long dark hair. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black long-sleeved shirt and a jumper.

Police believe Taleigha may be around the Mt Druitt area.

Anyone with information on Taleigha’s whereabouts is urged to contact Crime Stopers.
