NSW police seek info after a toilet block damaged

Police are appealing to the public for information after a toilet block was damaged in Belmore Falls, which is 10kms south of Robertson, NSW Police say.

Officers were called to Belmore Falls recreation area around 12.40pm today, following reports of damage to a toilet.

Police have been told that the toilet was last inspected by National Parks and Wildlife Service’s rangers on Tuesday 17 January 2017.

Since this time, it appears that someone has attempted to damage the toilet block by attempting to ignite a gas cylinder. However, the cylinder failed to ignite.

Officers from The Hume Local Area Command attended and launched an investigation.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area or may have information to contact Crime Stoppers.
