NSW police seek info after two stabbed

Police are appealing for information after a teenager and a man were stabbed in Rouse Hill last night, NSW Police say.

About 10.50pm today, emergency services were called to a community centre on Clower Avenue following reports of a brawl.

Officers attached to The Hills, Quakers Hill and Kuring-Gai Local Area Commands attended the centre and surrounding areas, when two people were located on McGuirk Way suffering stab wounds.

The pair, a teenage boy believed to be 17 and a man believed to be 21, was taken to Westmead Hospital by Ambulance Paramedics suffering non life-threatening injuries.

A number of crime scenes in Rouse Hill have been established, which will be forensically examined.

Four males were arrested at the scene and taken to Castle Hill Police Station, where they are assisting police with their inquiries.

Initial inquiries have led police to believe a gathering of about 150 people took place at the community centre, before the brawl erupted. The two injured are believed to have been stabbed with broken bottles.

Anyone with information on the incident is urged to come forward and contact local police via Crime Stopers.
