NSW police seek info following public place shooting

Police are appealing for information after a public place shooting in Sydney’s south west this afternoon, NSW Police say.

Just after 4.15pm today, officers attached to Fairfield Local Area Command were called to a home on Maud Street, Fairfield West, after reports shots were fired from a vehicle.

A number of occupants were inside at the time; however, they were not injured.

A vehicle outside the home was damaged.

Police attended and established a crime scene, which is being examined by forensic specialists.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or with information that may be able to assist police with their inquiries is urged to come forward.
