NSW Police Seek Missing Man from Minchinbury

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate an elderly man missing from Western Sydney.

Tau Sailosi, aged 78, was last seen on McFarlane Drive, Minchinbury, about 4pm on Thursday (5 October 2023).

When he could not be located or contacted, officers from Mount Druitt Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries to locate him.

Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare due to his age.

Tau is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, 165cm-170cm tall, of medium build, with brown skin and white hair.

He was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt, and shorts with colour unknown.

He may be travelling without shoes.

He is known to frequent the Mt Druitt and Cabramatta areas.

Anyone who has seen Tau or has information of his whereabouts is urged to call police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
