About 10.15am yesterday, Strike Force Zambesi officers executed a search warrant at a home on Anembo Avenue, Georges Hall.

Police will allege the premises had undergone modifications in order to cultivate cannabis indoors and during the search, officers located and seized 99 cannabis plants.

The estimated potential street value of the cannabis is $294,000.

A 50-year-old woman was arrested at the home and taken to Bankstown Police Station, where she was charged with the cultivation of prohibited plants (commercial quantity).

She was refused bail to appear at Bankstown Local Court today.

Strike Force Zambesi, comprising officers from South West Metropolitan Region Enforcement Squads, Wetherill Park and Bass Hill, was established to target the hydroponic cultivation of cannabis in the region.
