NSW police seize over $200,000 worth of cannabis

Police from Coffs/Clarence Local Area Command have uncovered cannabis plants with an estimated street value of almost $214,000 following a search warrant at a home near Grafton yesterday, NSW Police say.

About 2pm yesterday, officers executed a search warrant at a home on Summerland Way, Warragi Creek.

During the search, officers located and allegedly seized 107 cannabis plants, three kilograms of cannabis and ammunition.

The estimated potential street value of the cannabis plants is $214,000.

A 31-year-old man was arrested at the home and taken to Grafton Police Station.

The man was charged with the cultivate cannabis (greater than indictable less than commercial quantity), possess prohibited drug and possess ammunition without holding a licence.

He was granted conditional bail to appear at Grafton Local Court on Monday 20 March 2017.
