Police from Tuggerah Lake Local Area Command are reminding members of the public about the dangers of illicit drugs following two suspected drug overdoses at Gumbayah Oval, Doyalson North, NSW Police say.
About 5am, Monday 22 August 2016, two men aged 20 and 21 were admitted to hospital in a serious condition.
Police have been told they may have taken an unknown amount of the illegal drug, GHB (Gamma Hydroxybutyrate) whilst participating in an end of season sporting event.
At this stage, police are continuing their inquires and would encourage anyone with information to contact Tuggerah Lakes Local Area Command or Crime Stopers.
