NSW woman charged with supplying illicit drugs

A Bondi woman has been charged with allegedly supplying illicit drugs following a vehicle stop in Coffs Harbour today, NSW Police say.

About 4pm today, officers attached to Coffs/Clarence Local Area Command stopped a vehicle travelling north along the Pacific Highway.

Following a search of the vehicle, police will allege they located almost 1kg of a substance believed to be methylamphetamine.

The 52-year-old female driver from Bondi was arrested at the scene and taken to Coffs Harbour Police Station, where she was charged with supply prohibited drug (large commercial quantity).

She has been refused bail, to appear at Coffs Harbour Local Court tomorrow.
