O'Byrne abandoned by union mates

Michael Ferguson,Leader of the House

David O'Byrne, despite previously welcoming the impending return of Madeleine Ogilvie with open arms, has been forced into a humiliating backflip after being rolled by Rebecca White and his union mates who despise her.

On ABC Radio on 27 August 2019, David O'Byrne trying to wedge his leader said;

"She's been a long time member of the Labor Party, she's got Labor Party heritage running through her veins you might say, in terms of her family members, so of course she would be welcome back,"

Today on ABC Mornings, David O'Byrne was forced to toe Rebecca White's weak line, by humbly suggesting and seeking to clarify that Madeleine Ogilvie's return was a matter for her and her family.

There is no doubt David O'Byrne had been planning to use Ms Ogilvie as part of his coup plot to remove the underperforming Labor leader, however his backflip today shows he has been abandoned by his union mates.

Regardless, today's backflip from David O'Byrne is the latest episode in the drawn out saga of Labor's leadership chaos.

It shows that after five and a half years in opposition, they have nothing to offer Tasmanians, other than dysfunction and disunity.
