Oak Park hit-run

Moreland Crime Investigation Unit detectives have released CCTV and images following a hit and run collision in Oak Park in April.

Officers have been told that two men were seen dumping gym equipment from a ute in Vincent Street about 1.15pm on 23 April.

The victim, a 39-year-old Oak Park man, approached the men and asked them to stop dumping the equipment.

The offenders returned to their vehicle and started to drive away.

The Oak Park man stood in front of the vehicle in an effort to stop it but the offenders hit the 39-year-old and drove on.

The victim was taken to hospital suffering serious leg injuries.

Investigators have released CCTV and images that they believe may be able to assist with their enquires.
