A police officer has been charged with allegedly falsifying a document relating to a criminal investigation.
In March 2025, officers commenced an investigation into the alleged supply of a falsified brief service receipt relating to a criminal investigation.
Following extensive investigations, a 36-year-old woman – a senior constable attached to a specialist command in Central Metropolitan Region – was issued a court attendance notice today (Tuesday 29 July 2025), for use false document to influence exercise of public duty.
She is due to appear before Downing Centre Local Court on Wednesday 10 September 2025.
The officer's employment status is under review.
