Officer charged, contravention of DVO

The Queensland Police Service has charged a male police officer from Brisbane region with five counts of contravening a Domestic Violence Order.

The 39-year-old Sergeant is due to appear in Sandgate Magistrates Court on June 26.

The officer has been suspended from duty with the Queensland Police Service.
