Officer charged in Bowral

A serving police officer has been charged after an off-duty incident in the Southern Highlands in February, NSW Police say.

On the evening of Friday 25 February 2017, the 30-year-old man allegedly refused to leave a licensed premises on Centennial Road, Bowral, after being directed.

Following an investigation by police from The Hume Local Area Command, the man, a senior constable attached to a specialist command, was today issued a future court attendance notice for the offence of excluded person fail to leave licensed premises when required.

He is expected to appear at Moss Vale Local Court on Tuesday 5 September 2017.
