A police officer has been charged following a crash in Sydney earlier this year.
Officers were responding to an urgent call when their marked police vehicle and an SUV collided at the intersection of Dunning Avenue and Epsom Road, Rosebery, about 7am on Monday 2 February 2025.
Police commenced an investigation into the crash.
The driver of the SUV – a 40-year-old man – later attended hospital and was found to have a fractured hand.
Following inquiries, a male constable attached to the Central Metropolitan Region was yesterday (Wednesday 4 June 2025), issued with a court attendance notice for negligent driving.
He will appear at Downing Centre Local Court on Monday 4 August 2025.
