Officer charged over southern Sydney crash, NSW

A police officer will face court in November after a two vehicle crash in southern Sydney earlier this month. , NSW Police say

The 40-year-old senior constable, who is attached to the Traffic and Highway Patrol Command, was involved in an on-duty collision at Cronulla on 5 September 2018.

Today (Thursday 27 September 2018), he was issued a Future Court Attendance notice for the offence of dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm.

The officer is due to appear in Downing Centre Local Court on Monday 12 November 2018.

His duty status is under review.
