A serving police officer has been charged after allegedly driving while her licence was suspended.
Earlier this year, an internal investigation was launched following reports a constable attached to South West Metropolitan Region had failed to report her licence had been suspended and subsequently drove a police vehicle during the suspension period.
Following extensive inquiries, the 24-year-old female constable was served a Court Attendance Notice earlier today (Thursday 8 September 2022), for two counts of drive motor vehicle while licence suspended.
She is due to appear at Fairfield Local Court on Tuesday 24 October 2022.
