A police officer has been charged with pervert the court of justice.
The 50-year-old senior constable, who is attached to a specialist command, was issued a Future Court Attendance Notice yesterday (Tuesday 12 February 2018), for the offence of pervert the course of justice.
The matter relates to an alleged incident on Sunday 28 January 2018 at Silverwater whilst the officer was on-duty.
He is due to appear at Burwood Local Court on Wednesday 3 April 2019.
