A police officer has been charged with breaching a domestic violence order in the state's Central West region.
Shortly after 5pm (Tuesday 10 February 2026), police from a Western Region Police District were called to a home in Condobolin, following a report of an alleged judicial offence.
Following inquiries, about 8.30am today (Wednesday 11 February 2026), a 40-year-old man, attached to Western Region, attended Forbes Police Station.
He was issued with a Future Service Court Attendance Notice for contravene prohibition/restriction in apprehended violence order (domestic) to appear before Orange Local Court on Thursday 26 March 2026.
Police will allege in court the man attended the unoccupied home, which he was prohibited from entering as part of an apprehended violence order.
The officer is not currently in the workplace.
