An officer has been charged over an alleged breach of an Apprehended Domestic Violence Order (ADVO) in Western Region yesterday.
On Tuesday 8 March 2022, a 22-year-old male constable was served an ADVO as an investigation commenced into alleged domestic violence related offences.
About 4.40pm yesterday (Monday 14 March 2022), the officer was charged with contravene prohibition/restriction in AVO (domestic).
He was granted conditional bail to appear before Broken Hill Local Court on Tuesday 29 March 2022.
The constable's employment is currently under review.
