Officer charged - Western Region, NSW

A police officer is due to face court next month over an alleged fraud offence, NSW Police say.

On Monday 24 October 2016, an off-duty officer was involved in a motorcycle crash on Argent Street, Broken Hill.

As a result of the crash, police will allege a claim was made to an insurance company.

Following an investigation, the male Senior Constable attached to the Western Region was issued a Future Court Attendance Notice for the offence of dishonestly obtain financial advantage by deception.

He is due to appear at Broken Hill Local Court on Tuesday 21 November 2017.
