A police officer will face court next month, charged over an alleged assault, NSW Police say.
The 36-year-old male Leading Senior Constable, who is attached to a local area command within the South West Metropolitan Region, was issued a Future Court Attendance Notice for assault, following an incident while off duty.
A staff member was allegedly assaulted at a licensed premises on Keira Street, Wollongong, on Saturday 28 May 2016.
The officer will appear before Wollongong Local Court on Tuesday 23 August 2016.
