OMCG member charged with alleged drug supply offence, NSW

Officers from State Crime Command’s Gangs Squad Strike Force Raptor have charged a Finks OMCG member with an alleged drug supply offence following a vehicle stop at The Ponds yesterday, NSW Police say.

About 10.40pm yesterday, police stopped a vehicle travelling along Ridgeline Drive, driven by a 27-year-old man and with two passengers – a woman and child.

It’s alleged police located and seized over 500g of cocaine in the vehicle.

The driver was arrested and taken to Blacktown Police Station, where he was charged with supply prohibited drug (commercial quantity) and an outstanding warrant.

Just after 10am today, investigators executed a search warrant at a home on Kelby Street, The Ponds.

Police located cash, a mobile phone, ecstasy tablets and documents. All items were seized for forensic examination.

The 27-year-old man was refused police bail, and appeared at Blacktown Local Court today.

Inquiries continue.

Strike Force Raptor was established by State Crime Command’s Gangs Squad in 2009. It is a proactive and high-impact operation targeting outlaw motorcycle gangs and their associated enterprises.
