One dead, several injured in Woodbine crash

One man has died and several people have been injured after a multi-vehicle crash in Sydney’s south-west this evening, NSW Police say.

Emergency services were called to Campbelltown Road near Rose Payten Drive at Woodbine about 7.15pm (Friday 30 March 2018), and found four cars had collided, with two subsequently catching fire.

One man died at the scene while the remaining patients have been taken to several local hospitals by helicopter and road ambulance.

Road diversions are in place and Campbelltown Road will be closed for several hours while police from the Crash Investigation Unit examine the site, and the wreckage is removed.
