One injured, three arrested over Potts Point brawl, NSW

Police are investigating after a man was injured over a brawl outside a licensed premises in Potts Point today, NSW Police say.

About 1.15am (Sunday 22 July 2018), emergency services were called to a night club on Bayswater Road, near Kellet Street, Potts Point, following reports of a brawl involving a number of men.

Police have been told a 21-year-old man was knocked unconscious and hit his head on the pavement following an altercation with a 19-year-old man not known to him.

He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to St Vincent’s Hospital as a precaution.

Following investigations, officers from Kings Cross Police Area Command arrested two men, aged 19 and 20. Both men were taken to Kings Cross Police Station as inquiries continue.

A third man, aged 22, was arrested at the scene. He was issued a Court Attendance Notice for hindering police.

Police are urging anyone with information about the incident who has not yet spoken to police to contact Crime Stoppers.
