One vehicle destroyed, two damaged by fire at car dealership in Casula

A crime scene has been established at a car dealership in Casula tonight after one car was destroyed and two others were damaged by fire, NSW Police say.

Emergency services were called to the premises on the Hume Highway about 11.25pm (Monday 9 April 2018) following reports of a fire.

On arrival officers located a new Volkswagen Golf well alight. The fire was extinguished by officers from Fire & Rescue NSW.

The vehicle was missing four wheels and a jack was located nearby.

Two other vehicles, also Volkswagen’s, were damaged by the fire.

A crime scene will remain in place at the dealership while specialist officers work to determine the cause of the fire.
