The cattery at the Cobram Pound is full, and Moira Shire Council is calling on the community to help these cats and kittens find forever homes.
To encourage adoptions, Council has reduced adoption fees until Friday 31 July 2026, with kittens available for $120 and adult cats for $60.
Every adoption includes desexing, vaccinations, microchipping and free registration until April 2027, giving new owners complete peace of mind.
Moira Shire Council Chair Administrator Dr Graeme Emonson hopes this adoption drive can help our furry friends find loving homes.
"Adult cats can make wonderful companions – calm, loving and often already litter-trained. Or if you're after a playful new addition to the family, there are kittens ready and waiting," Dr Emonson said.

Not all the available cats and kittens are listed on the website – many more are waiting to meet their prospective owners at the Cobram Pound.
