Operation Minimus nets speedsters

Dozens of dangerous drivers were detected during an eight-hour road safety blitz near Cobram last week, Victoria Police say.

Cobram Highway Patrol members were stationed on Katamatite Shepparton Road, Invergordon, on 14 November and detected:

• 13 drivers speeding less than 10km/h above the speed limit

• Six drivers travelling 10 to 15km/h above the limit

• Three motorists speeding 15 to 25km/h above the limit

• One driver travelling between 25 and 30km/h above the speed limit

• One driver was caught driving unlicensed while another was driving an unsafe vehicle

• Two defects notices were issued and two people were detected not wearing seatbelts
