Improves coverage along the Pacific Highway

Optus has switched on a new tower in Taree, bringing improved mobile coverage to the Mid North Coast.

The new tower will improve coverage along Old Bar road and the Pacific Highway, providing the local community with uninterrupted mobile reception to make and receive calls, texts and access mobile data.

Optus Territory General Manager for North West New South Wales, Chris Simon said, Its fantastic to be able to deliver improved coverage to the Taree region, enabling residents to stay connected with their friends and family through reliable voice and data access.

This new site will not only provide improved coverage for those travelling along Old bar road and the Pacific Highway, but also provide improved capacity the Taree Interchange Service Centre.
