Members of the NSW Police Force continue to strive for excellence with the addition of three new award categories. For the first time awards will be given to members in each of the new five deputy commissioner commands, along with an outstanding field of finalists for the NSW Rotary Police Officer of the Year Awards, NSW Police say.
The Police Officer of the Year Awards is the most prestigious event in the NSW Police Force calendar year. The finalists have been identified in 11 separate categories according to their roles and expertise.
The category winners and overall Police Officer of the Year will be announced at a special dinner being held at Hyatt Regency, Sydney on Friday 10 November in Sydney.
