A woman has lost her licence for 12 months after allegedly driving at more than two times the legal blood alcohol limit in Sunbury yesterday with a child in the car, Victoria Police say.
The 49-year-old woman had been travelling along Mitchells Lane shortly before 5pm with a child in the car and was on her way to pick up a teenage daughter from school.
A member of the community raised concerns with the woman, who then walked home.
Police were alerted and attended a Sunbury address, where they located the woman.
She underwent an evidentiary breath test and returned a blood alcohol concentration of 0.125%.
The woman is expected to be charged on summons with drink driving.
