P plater caught speeding at Owen, SA

A Provisional driver will face court after being detected speeding at Owen yesterday, according to SA Police.

Just before 6pm on Friday 15 September, police were conducting speed detection duties on Traeger Road, when they detected a Holden sedan travelling at 173km/h in a 100km/h zone.

The driver, a 19-year-old local man was reported for speed dangerous and breach condition of provisional licence and he will be summonsed to appear in the Clare Magistrates Court at a later date.

His car was also impounded for 28 days.
