Pair charged following multiple offences in Melbourne's south

Glen Eira-Bayside and Kingston Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged two males following a number of offences across the Hampton, Highett and Brighton areas last month, Victoria Police say.

It is alleged the offences included a number of thefts of motor vehicles occurring between 21 and 23 November on Myrtle Avenue in Hampton, Canberra Grove in Brighton East, and Panorama Avenue in Hampton East.

The pair is believed to have been involved in a number of alleged armed robberies and robberies occurring between 25 and 29 November on Sandringham Road in Sandringham, Railway Parade in Highett, and on Tweed Street and Wickham Road in Hampton East.

A 16-year-old Dandenong boy was charged and remanded to appear in a children’s court.

An 18-year-old Noble Park man was charged and remanded to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates Court today.
