Pair charged following ram raid in Narre Warren

Two men have been charged following an alleged ram raid in Narre Warren early this morning., Victoria Police say

Police were notified of the ram raid after a member of the public noticed a van crash through the doors of a camping store and start to load up goods, on Narre Warren North Road, just after 4.30am.

The van was pursued by police for a short time before it sped off.

Two men were arrested on the Monash Freeway a short time later and were taken to hospital under police guard.

A 26-year-old Plenty man and a 22-year-old Reservoir man have been charged with reckless conduct endangering life, robbery and burglary.

The pair have been remanded to appear at the Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 10 October.
