Pair Critical Post-Crash in Lakemba

A man and a woman are in critical condition following a crash in Sydney's south west today.

Just before 1pm today (Tuesday 28 July 2026), emergency services were called to The Boulevarde, Lakemba, following reports two pedestrians had been struck by a vehicle.

A woman – believe to be aged in her 30s – was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to Liverpool hospital, while a man – believed to be aged in his 60s – was taken to St George Hospital.

Both are in critical condition.

The driver – an 82-year-old man – was treated by paramedics and has been taken to hospital for further assessment and mandatory testing.

Officers attached to Campsie Police Area Command have established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the crash.
