Park Street Ramp

We're improving the maintenance vehicle access ramp and associated infrastructure at the north end of Brighton Beach, opposite Park Street. The location has an existing gate and gravel path connecting The Esplanade to the beach promenade path. The formalised ramp and infrastructure are required for ongoing beach maintenance and cleaning in this location, including the delivery, and removal of seaweed bins.

Works are commencing early-February 2026, Monday to Friday between 7am and 5pm, and are anticipated to take up to 4-weeks, weather permitting.

To complete the project, we're establishing a new crossover between the kerb and road surface. During this late project phase, we anticipate occasional disruptions to northbound traffic on The Esplanade, and for Bay Trail and beach promenade users. Traffic management will be in place to minimise impacts when required.
