Pedestrian critical after struck by car in Arncliffe

Crash Investigation Unit officers will investigate after a pedestrian was struck by a car in Arncliffe today, and remains in a critical condition, NSW Police say.

Just after 1.15pm (Monday 18 June 2018), emergency services were called to the corner of Forest Road and Princes Highway, after reports a man was struck by a car.

The injured man, believed to be aged in his 50s, was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics, before being taken to St George Hospital in a critical condition.

The male driver was treated for shock and taken to St George Hospital for mandatory testing.

Officers from St George Police Area Command have established a crime scene.

Motorists are urged to monitor livetraffic.com for diversions.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
