Pedestrian critically injured in Kogarah

An investigation is underway after a serious crash in Kogarah, NSW Police say.

About 5.25pm (Sunday 10 December 2017), a man aged in his 70s was struck by a Toyota hatch being driven by a 60-year-old woman on the top level of a shopping centre car park on Railway Parade.

The man sustained critical injuries and has been taken to St George Hospital.

The woman was uninjured and has also been taken to St George Hospital for mandatory blood and urine tests.

A crime scene has been established and police from the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit are on scene conducting inquiries.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
