A man has died following a collision in Caulfield South on 24 August.
It is understood a pedestrian was crossing Hawthorn Road when he was struck by a vehicle.
The 82-year-old Caulfield North man was transported to hospital in a critical condition but has since died in hospital.
The driver, a 29-year-old Glenhuntly woman, stopped at the scene to assist police.
The investigation remains ongoing.
