An elderly man has died following a single vehicle crash in Sydney's north yesterday.
Just after 11.40am yesterday (Thursday 13 November 2025), emergency services were called to St Johns Avenue, Gordon, following reports of a man had been hit by a car.
Officers attached to Ku-ring-gai Police Area Command and Traffic and Highway Patrol Command were told a 92-year-old man was walking on the street when he was hit by a red hatchback.
The man was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a serious condition.
The driver – a 91-year-old man – was taken to Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital for mandatory testing.
The vehicle was seized to be forensically examined.
A crime scene was established, and police commenced an investigation into the incident.
On Friday 14 November 2025, police were informed the 92-year-old man has died at the hospital.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
