Pedestrian Dies After Crash At Liverpool 11 November

A man has died after being hit by a truck in Sydney's southwest.

About 7.50pm (Tuesday 11 November 2025), emergency services were called to the intersection of Copeland Street and Elizabeth Drive, Liverpool following reports of a crash.

Officers attached to Liverpool City Police Area Command were told the man was allegedly struck by a truck as he crossed the road.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the pedestrian – a 50-year-old man – however he could not be revived and died at the scene.

The driver of the truck – a 33-year-old man – was not injured and taken to Liverpool Hospital for mandatory testing.

Police have established a crime scene which will be forensically examined by specialist police from the Crash Investigation Unit.
